The Connecticut Thunder and ESPN will be teaming up to work on a 3D Television Project. ESPN the world leader in sports is again pushing Television Broadcasting to the edge by providing 3D coverage of specific College games during the 2010 Season. The Connecticut Thunder will be working out for ESPN to help create accurate game situations with live football for the camera technitions to capture and perfect the techniques required to televise the intensity and speed of Professional Football.
2010 Connecticut Thunder Coaches Please welcome new Head Coach Pablo Ortiz to the Connecticut Thunder. Pablo has been coaching football since 1988, and has 15 years playing experience. He has most recently been the Offensive Coordinator / QB Coach for the Semi-Pro Giants, as well as Hartford Public School QB Coach / Offensive Coordinator. To assist Pablo this year is Assistant Head Coach Robert Pontarelli who will be taking over as Special Teams Coordinator as well as Running Backs Coach and Assistant Linebacker Coach. Coach Pontarelli is one of the last origanal players from the 2002 CT Thunder team. He retired as a player in 2007 and was Interim Head Coach for two years with a record of 15 - 7. New Assistant Offensive Coordinator Nate Sullivan is also serving as the Thunder's Offensive Line and Defensive Linebackers Coach as well as the team Strength and Conditioning Coach. Lenionell Frost is entering his second season as the Thunder's Defensive Coordinator. Coach Frost had on of the leagues to rated defenses last season as well as the League's 2009 Defensive MVP Award winner Tylee Flowers. General Manager Brad Birkhofer will be assisting Coach Frost on the Defensive side of the ball this year as the Defensive Backs Coach.
The Connecticut Thunder is looking for Coaches and Sideline Assitants to be part of our 2010 campaign for another Championship. We are looking for motivated people to fill several jobs and responsabilties and who are interested in being part of our Connecticut Thunder family.
